Luke Chapter 19

The words of Our Only Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in red.

19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
19:11 As they were hearing these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately be manifested.
19:12 He said therefore: "a certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.
19:13 And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds and said to them: Trade till I come.
19:14 But his citizens hated him and they sent an delegation after him, saying: 'We will not have this man to reign over us.'
19:15 And it came to pass that he returned, having received the kingdom: and he commanded his servants to be called, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading,
19:16 And the first came saying: 'Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.'
19:17 And he said to him: 'Well done, thou good servant, because thou hast been faithful in a little, thou shalt have power over ten cities.'
19:18 And the second came, saying: 'Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.'
19:19 And he said to him: 'Be thou also over five cities.'
19:20 And another came, saying: ' Lord, behold here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin.
19:21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up what thou didst not lay down: and thou reapest that which thou didst not sow.'
19:22 He saith to him: 'Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down and reaping that which I did not sow.
19:23 And why then didst thou not give my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have exacted it with usury?'
19:24 And he said to them that stood by: 'Take the pound away from him and give it to him that hath ten pounds.'
19:25 And they said to him: 'Lord, he hath ten pounds.'
19:26 But I say to you that to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: and from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken from him.
19:27 But as for those my enemies, who would not have me reign over them, bring them hither and slay them in my presence."
19:28 And having said these things, he went before, going up to Jerusalem.
19:29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethania, unto the mount called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
19:30 Saying: "Go into the town which is over against you, at your entering into which you shall find the colt of an ass tied, on which no man ever hath sitten: loose it and bring it.
19:31 And if any man shall ask you: 'Why are you loosing it?' You shall say thus unto him: Because the Lord hath need of it.' "
19:32 And they that were sent went their way and found the colt standing, as he said unto them.
19:33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said to them: "Why are you loosing it?
19:34 But they said: "Because the Lord has need of it."
19:35 And they brought it to Jesus. And casting their cloaks over the colt, they set Jesus on it.
19:36 And as he went, they spread their cloaks upon the road.
19:37 And when he was drawing near, being now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole company of his disciples began to rejoice and to praise God with a loud voice, for all the miracles that they had seen,
19:38 Saying: "Blessed is he who comes as king, in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
19:39 And some of the Pharisees, from the crowds, said to him: "Master, rebuke thy disciples."
19:40 He said to them: "I tell you that if these keep silence, the stones will cry out."
19:41 And when he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying:
19:42 "If thou also hadst known, and that in this thy day, the things that are to thy peace: but now they are hidden from thy eyes.
19:43 For the days shall come upon thee: and thy enemies shall cast a trench about thee and compass thee round and straiten thee on every side,
19:44 And beat thee flat to the ground, and thy children who are in thee. And they shall not leave in thee a stone upon a stone: because thou hast not known the time of thy visitation."
19:45 And entering into the temple, he began to cast out them that sold therein and them that bought.
19:46 Saying to them: "It is written: My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves."
19:47 And he was teaching daily in the temple. And the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy him.
19:48 And they found not what to do to him: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

The Second Epistle of St. Paul to the Thessalonians

The day of the Lord is not to come till the man of sin be revealed. The apostle's teachings are to be observed.

2:1 And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and of our gathering together unto him:
2:2 That you be not easily moved from your sense nor be terrified, neither by spirit nor by word nor by epistle. as sent from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand.

Chap. 2. Ver. 2. Spirit . . . utterance. . . letter indicate three possible sources of their belief that the parousia is imminent. Spirit refers to some falsely claimed revelation, utterance may be a statement of Paul’s which was misunderstood, or wrongly attributed to him, the letter seems to be one forged in Paul’s name.

2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

Ver. 3. . . The parousia must be preceded by a great apostasy, i.e., a great religious revolt, and the advent of the man of sin, i.e., Antichrist. Son of perdition, one entirely deserving of eternal punishment.

Ver. 3. The day of the Lord will not come. These words have been inserted to complete the sentence, which in the original is elliptical. The expanded reads "Let no man deceive you by any means: for the day of the Lord will not come unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition"

2:4 Who opposeth and is lifted up above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God.

Ver. 4. In the temple, that of Apostate Jerusalem which the full consensus of the Church Fathers declare he will rebuild - i.e. the Temple of Remphan; and in the Apostate shell of the former Christian church, which he perverts to his own worship: as the Freemasons have done to the Vatican.

Ver. 4. Antichrist will be characterized by great impiety and pride. He sits in the temple of God, etc. He will aspire to be treated as God and proclaim that he is really God.

2:5 Remember you not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2:6 And now you know what restrains him, that he may be revealed in his proper time.

Ver. 6. What restrains him. The Thessalonians knew the obstacle. We also know that it is Jesus Christ.

2:7 For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: only that he who is at present restraining it, does still restrain, until he is gotten out of the way.

Ver. 7. Mystery of iniquity, the evil power of Satan’s threefold prevarication and total Apostasy from God, of which Antichrist is to be the public exponent and champion. He who is at present restraining it. The obstacle is now spoken of as a person. Some point out that Michael the archangel and his heavenly army are obstacles, and this is true, which now prevent the appearance of Antichrist – but the primary obstacle is, as St. Justin Martyr teaches: Jesus Christ Himself; when the great Apostasy is complete, then in effect, Christ is “gotten out of the way.”

2:8 And then that wicked one shall be revealed: whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: him

Ver. 8. When Christ appears in glory, He will inflict defeat and death on Antichrist by a mere word of command.
2:9 Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power and signs and lying wonders:

Ver. 9 – 10. By the aid of Satan Antichrist will perform prodigies which men will falsely regard as miracles, and by means of which they will be led to adopt sinful practices.

2:10 And with all wicked deception to those who are perishing. For they have not received the love of truth that they might be saved.
2:11 Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying:

Ver. 11. God shall send. . .That is God shall suffer them to be deceived by lying wonders, and false miracles, in punishment of their not entertaining the love of truth.
Ver. 11. 'God sends.' God will allow their willful rejection of truth to have its natural results of spiritual blindness, impenitence and damnation. A misleading influence, or, “a delusion.” The operation of error - the Greek reads: "energian planes" or literally the energy of delusion, which is exactly and actually the fallen spirits of the devils and demons conjured by pagan religion, especially by idolatry. NOW, currently, the Assisi delusion of the Apostates, Ratzinger and Wojtyla and many others present with them, is a very real and prime example. To give oneself over to this is to invite utter and complete damnation of oneself by God.
2:12 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity.

2:13 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit and faith of the truth:
Ver. 13. First-fruits, i.e., earliest believers in the gospel. Some manuscripts read: “from the beginning.” That is, God called them from all eternity.
2:14 Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast: and hold the teachings, which you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle.
Ver. 15. Teachings, i.e., his teachings whether given orally or in writing. Concerning Apostolic teaching – the oral is included in the written at the point we have the whole New Testament complete, i.e. with the completion of St. John’s Gospel.
2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God and our Father, who hath loved us and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope in grace,

2:17 Exhort your hearts and confirm you in every good work and word.

The Aim of the Zionist Irruption of all of the Earth

The Apocalypse, the Book of the Revelation: 6.

2. The Breaking of the First Six Seals

War

Rv:6:
1 ¶ And I saw that the Lamb had opened [1] one of the seven seals: and I heard one of the four living creatures, as it were the voice of thunder, saying: Come and see. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 3:5; 6:7, 9, 12, 8:1
2 And I saw: and behold a white horse, [2] and he that sat on him had a bow, and there was a crown given him, and he went forth conquering that he might conquer. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 19:11; Zach. 6:3!

Strife

3 ¶ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying: Come and see. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 6:1!
4 And there went out another horse that was red. [3] And to him that sat thereon, it was given that he should take peace from the earth: and that they should kill one another. And a great sword was given to him. … Scripture reference – Zach.: 6:2![from there go to Zach.1:8]

Death

5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying: Come and see. And behold a black horse. [4] And he that sat on him had a pair of scales in his hand. … Scripture reference – Rev.:6:1!; Zach. 6:2
6 And I heard, as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying: Two pounds of wheat for a penny, [5] and thrice two pounds of barley for a penny: and see thou hurt not the wine and the oil.

Hell

7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying: Come and see. … Scripture reference – Rev.: 6:1!
8 And behold a pale horse: [6] and he that sat upon him, his name was Death. And hell followed him. And power was given to him over the four parts of the earth, to kill with sword, with famine and with death and with the beasts of the earth. … Scripture reference – Zach.: 6:3!

The True Holy Trinity.

The Holy Spirit leads people to Jesus Christ, who is the only Saviour and Jesus Christ, as our only High Priest offers His one time sacrifice on His Cross to God the Father for the salvation of all who rightly believe in Him and the Father with the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit indwell all who therefore are redeemed from the earth. The Holy Trinity will deliver all of these into the future eternal heavenly kingdom, of the complete heavens and the earth remade by God then, when Christ returns from heaven and resurrects first His saints to be with Him forever.

Antichrist and the False Prophet.

The False Prophet goes before the Antichrist as its armour bearer in Diabolic imitation of the Holy Trinity. The False Prophet gives false glory to the Antichrist and the Antichrist causes those on earth who apostatize from God to serve Satan and Satan and all of those are damned by God into hell forever.

1 ¶ And some, coming down from Judea, taught the brethren: That, except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.
2  And when Paul and Barnabas had no small contest with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of the other side should go up to the apostles and priests to Jerusalem, about this question.
3  They therefore, being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles. And they caused great joy to all the brethren.
4  And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and by the apostles and ancients, declaring how great things God had done with them.
5  But there arose of the sect of the Pharisees some that believed, saying: They must be circumcised and be commanded to observe the law of Moses.
6 ¶ And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter.
7  And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
8  And God, who knoweth the hearts, gave testimony, giving unto them the Holy Ghost, as well as to us:
9  And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
10  Now therefore, why tempt you God to put a yoke upon the necks of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?
11  But by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe to be saved, in like manner as they also.
12  And all the multitude held their peace: and they heard Barnabas and Paul telling what great signs and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
13  And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying: Men, brethren, hear me.
14  Simon hath related how God first visited to take to the Gentiles, a people to his name.
15  And to this agree the words of the prophets, as it is written:
16  After these things I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down: and the ruins thereof I will rebuild. And I will set it up:
17  That the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all nations upon whom my name is invoked, saith the Lord, who doth these things.
18  To the Lord was his own work known from the beginning of the world.
19  For which cause, judge that they who from among the Gentiles are converted to God are not to be disquieted:
20  But that we write unto them, that they refrain themselves from the pollutions of idols and from fornication and from things strangled and from blood.
21  For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him in the synagogues, where he is read every sabbath.
22 ¶ Then it pleased the apostles and ancients, with the whole church, to choose men of their own company and to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas, who was surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren.
23  Writing by their hands: The apostles and ancients, brethren, to the brethren of the Gentiles that are at Antioch and in Syria and Cilicia, greeting.
24  Forasmuch as we have heard that some going out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, to whom we gave no commandment:
25  It hath seemed good to us, being assembled together, to choose out men and to send them unto you, with our well beloved Barnabas and Paul:
26  Men that have given their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27  We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, by word of mouth, tell you the same things.
28  For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things:
29  That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication: from which things keeping yourselves, you shall dowell. Fare ye well.
30  They therefore, being dismissed, went down to Antioch and, gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.
31  Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
32  But Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, with many words comforted the brethren and confirmed them.
33  And after they had spent some time there, they were let go with peace by the brethren unto them that had sent them.
34  But it seemed good unto Silas to remain there: and Judas alone departed to Jerusalem.
35  And Paul and Barnabas continued at Antioch, teaching and preaching, with many others, the word of the Lord.
36 ¶ And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.
37  And Barnabas would have taken with them John also, that was surnamed Mark.
38  But Paul desired that he (as having departed from them out of Pamphylia and not gone with them to the work) might not be received.
39  And there arose a dissension so that they departed one from another. And Barnabas indeed, taking Mark, sailed to Cyprus.
40  But Paul, choosing Silas, departed, being delivered by the brethren to the grace of God.
41  And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, commanding them to keep the precepts of the apostles and the ancients.

CANON VI.
LET the ancient customs in Egypt, Libya and Pentapolis prevail, that the Bishop of Alexandria have jurisdiction in all these, since the like is customary for the Bishop of Rome also. Likewise in Antioch and the other provinces, let the Churches retain their privileges. And this is to be universally understood, that if any one be made bishop without the consent of the Metropolitan, the great Synod has declared that such a man ought not to be a bishop. If, however, two or three bishops shall from natural love of contradiction, oppose the common suffrage of the rest, it being reasonable and in accordance with the ecclesiastical law, then let the choice of the majority prevail.

CANON XXXIX.
Of the care and power which a Patriarch has over the bishops and archbishops of his patriarchate; and of the primacy of the Bishop of Rome over all.
Let the patriarch consider what things are done by the archbishops and bishops in their provinces; and if he shall find anything done by them otherwise than it should be, let him change it, and order it, as seemeth him fit: for he is the father of all, and they are his sons. And although the archbishop be among the bishops as an elder brother, who hath the care of his brethren, and to whom they owe obedience because he is over them; yet the patriarch is to all those who are under his power, just as he who holds the seat of Rome, is the head and prince of all patriarchs; in-asmuch as he is first, as was Peter, to whom power is given over all Christian princes, and over all their peoples, as he who is the Vicar of Christ our Lord over all peoples and over the whole Christian Church, and whoever shall contradict this, is excommunicated by the Synod.(1)
[I add Canon XXXVII. of Echellensis's Nova Versio LXXXIV. Arabic. Canonum Conc. Nicoeni, that the reader may compare it with the foregoing.]
Let there be only four patriarchs in the whole world as there are four writers of the Gospel, and four rivers, etc. And let there be a prince and chief over them, the lord of the see of the Divine Peter at Rome, according as the Apostles commanded. And after him the lord of the great Alexandria, which is the see of Mark. And the third is the lord of Ephesus, which is the see of John the Divine who speaks divine things. And the fourth and last is my lord of Antioch, which is another see of Peter. And let all the bishops be divided under the hands of these four patriarchs; and the bishops of the little towns which are under the dominion of the great cities let them be under the authority of these metropolitans. But let every metropolitan of these great cities appoint the bishops of his province, but let none of the bishops appoint him, for he is greater than they. Therefore let every man know his own rank, and let him not usurp the rank of another. And whosoever shall contradict this law which we have established the Fathers of the Synod subject him to anathema.(2)

Vatican II is damned by God. Part 1

See the two Nicene canons below for the real beginning of Roman See Primacy. Even if we assume that Canon XXXIX was as early as the first Nicene council in 325 A.D. it still is a decision of men and is therefore secondary to whatever God says through Jesus Christ. Even assuming that Canon XXXIX is as late an addition as would be at Chalcedon in 451 A.D. and was part of what alienated the Oriental Churches, it still governed a great deal of the Church for a very long time – centuries, and is therefore not to be taken lightly. Jesus Christ Himself instituted Church law in St. Matthew’s Gospel, Chapter 16 and Chapter 18. The prime example of how that governed of course is in the Acts.

See Acts Chapter 15 verses 28, 29
28  For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things:
29  That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication: from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well.

It is utterly clear that Vatican II and the antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI and John Paul I and John Paul II and Benedict XVI have utterly violated this, especially when John Paul II blamed the utterly idolatrous Assisi meeting on Jan. 24, 2002 on the Holy Spirit, and can not be followed under penalty of Blaspheming the Holy Spirit and eternal damnation. In addition Guiseppe Siri was the real Pope of Rome – Gregory XVII, elected in 1958 until his death in 1988. He was forced to remain silent and in exile for that whole time by the Vatican II plotters who threatened to murder him and his family if he said anything. Shortly before his death he did speak.

All of Vatican II and the Novus Ordo and all and everyone connected with it are utterly contravened by God, His Christ and the Holy Spirit and Pius XI’s Mortalium Animus. Also, the fact that the See of Rome has been vacant since 1988 and no Pope reigned visibly since 1958 releases all the faithful from any obligation to the Vatican. Taken together and they MUST BE, the faithful are commanded by God in Rev. 18:1-6 and 2 Cor. 6:11-18 to come out now and be totally separate in every way from the Apostate and utterly evil Vatican dominion and every thing to do with it including the Novus Ordo and anyone claiming ANY allegiance with the Vatican of the present.

Rv:18:
1 ¶ And after these things, I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power: and the earth was enlightened with his glory.
2  And he cried out with a strong voice, saying: Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen: and is become the habitation of devils and the hold of every unclean spirit and the hold of every unclean and hateful bird:
3  Because all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication: and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her; And the merchants of the earth have been made rich by the power of her delicacies.
4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my people; that you be not partakers of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues.
5  For her sins have reached unto heaven: and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities.
6  Render to her as she also hath rendered to you: and double unto her double, according to her works. In the cup wherein she hath mingled, mingle ye double unto her.

2Cor:6:
14  Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?
15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?
16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God: as God saith: I will dwell in them and walk among them. And I will be their God: and they shall be my people.
17  Wherefore: Go out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing:
18  And I will receive you. And will be a Father to you: and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Vatican II is damned: The Reign of the Antichrist

The Coming of the Antichrist

The Vatican Murders
Art Bell - 1996 - Malachi Martin

Replay of Father Martin Interview
In a rebroadcast of Art Bell's very first interview with Father Malachi Martin from 1996, this conversation covers the topics of exorcism and possession. The late Father Malachi Martin was a renown[ed] exorcist and Jesuit, a one-time advisor to three Popes, and best-selling author. As a member of the Vatican Intelligence Network, under Pope John the XXIII, Martin helped extend the Church into Iron Curtain countries. In 1964, concerned about the corrupting influences of power, Martin was released from his vows of poverty and obedience after 25 years as a Jesuit.

It was after that, that he wrote his books revealing the most extreme Satanic corruption of the Vatican. Part of his insight was his participation in the inner councils of the Apostates

St. Irenaeus (Bishop of Lyons, France. Apostolic succession from St. Polycarp and St. Polycarp from St. John the Apostle), 180 A.D., tells of Christians who had been led astray by the Gnostics and upon their repentance were readmitted to the body of faithful believers. He tells of their then going to various churches and telling about their conversion. This, at that time, was actually done by the Bishop directing them to do this. St. Irenaeus by his most important work, "Against Heresies," wherein he tells of this, wrote "Against Heresies" in several successive letters to the then Bishop of Rome in Apostolic succession, Eleutherus, who had fallen from the faith and embraced Montanism, a most extreme Gnostic heresy blaspheming the faith. By his efforts in writing to Eleutherus, St. Irenaeus brought him back to the faith and prevented the spread of all of the Gnostic blasphemies among the faithful of Rome. Perhaps Father Martin hoped to accomplish at least what the Christians who had been led astray by the Gnostics and upon their repentance were readmitted to the body of faithful believers, had accomplished by their testimony. Father Martin did indeed issue valid warnings. He did not entertain the idea, that like St. Irenaeus did with Rome, he could retrieve the Vatican from its heresies. It is extremely important to note that it was St. Irenaeus writing in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, who predicted in "Against Heresies," the since then long held by the full consensus of all the Fathers of the Church and Doctors and Commentators of the Church the warning based on the inspired and infallible word of God in The Apocalypse, the Book of the Revelation: Chapter 18 that when Rome would fall in the future (which happened: Conclave of 1958 - Early Vatican II 1963) it would be permanent and without any chance of reversal and the prelude to the short and absolutely evil reign of the Antichrist on earth. It has always been the doctrine of the Church for the faithful of the Church to then TOTALLY separate themselves forever from the Apostates of Rome (all of Vatican City and its whole heresiarchial-ecclesiastical structure) and all their minions on earth. This is not optional, but commanded by God upon pain of eternal damnation.

Pothinus was St. Irenaeus' fellow pupil under St. Polycarp and Pothinus was first sent as Bishop to Lyons and St. Irenaeus sent as his Presbyter by St. Polycarp. Upon Pothinus' death, St. Irenaeus succeeded him as Bishop of Lyons and it was after that, that he remonstrated by "Against Heresies," with Eleutherus, just as St. Irenaeus quotes the New Testament Scripture in "Against Heresies," and reminds us of St. Paul withstanding St. Peter to the face (St. Irenaeus is plain that it is St. Peter and not someone else).

From Butler's Lives of the Saints
St. Jerome informs us, that St. Irenæus was also a scholar of Papias, another disciple of the apostles. In order to confute the heresies of that age which, in the three first centuries, were generally a confused medley drawn from the most extravagant systems of the heathens and their philosophers, joined with Christianity, this father studied diligently the mythology of the Pagans, and made himself acquainted with the most absurd conceits of their philosophers, by which means he was qualified to trace up every error to its source, and set it in its full light. On this account he is styled by Tertullian, “The most diligent searcher of all doctrines.” St. Jerome often appeals to his authority. Eusebius commends his exactness. St. Epiphanius calls him “A most learned and eloquent man, endowed with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit.” Theodoret styles him, “The light of the western Gauls.”

[There is a colloquialism he uses to describe Satan's hatred of the Holy Trinity and God's Divine life of Absolute Sanctity and His Mercy towards men. It should not be misunderstood. What he is describing is Satan's jealousy of God and men. It is God who does not and never will forgive Satan nor grant the Devil reprieve. Satan and his Antichrist and the False Prophet are going to spend eternity in hell with all the damned, both men and fallen spirits, by God's just judgment and unimpeachable sentence and utterly unmatched power.]
